What's it all about? The TechRamp competition aims to bring the region's best start-ups together and offer them a platform to launch and promote themselves in front of Australia's Business, VC, and Technology communities. Terms and Conditions for competition entry:
TechRamp Pavilion exhibitors will automatically be entered into the competition held during Transaction 2.0. (more on exhibiting). Other CeBIT exhibitors that comply with the above Terms and Conditions are welcome to submit their entry. The TechRamp panel of judges will select the top 6 finalists. The selection process will be based on the following criteria:

The 6 finalists will have the opportunity to run a 6 minute presentation and demonstration in front of the conference audience and the panel. The winner will be announced on 22nd of May, 2008, with the end of Transaction 2.0 and CeBIT Australia. What's in it for the winner? Besides recognition and obvious marketing benefits, we will have a nice stack of prizes for the winner (prize package to be announced soon). We can’t wait to hear about your startup, whether you're ripe for the competition, or still on the way. TechRamp PrizeEach TechRamp sponsor has contributed to the prize pool, making the combined prize value $51,500. Each prize will assist the winner in making it through the next year, ensuring that their business has the best opportunities available to help them succeed. eWAY will offer $20,000 worth of free transactions for use on the prize winners payment gateway account. By taking their payments online the winner can automate their business, open their business to customers all over the world and be assured that their online payments are handled by the industry leader in safe and secure eCommerce. AussieHQ will offer $10,000 of service credit towards a Managed Dedicated Hosting Solution to ensure the winner has the best possible web and email hosting solution available for start up businesses. Enotia will offer a full day brain storming workshop and extended business luncheon for up to 4 people hosted by Enotia Executives. The day will be personally pre-planned by Enotia to target specific areas of e-business relevant to the winning business. The prize is valued at $7,000. Saasu do more than online accounting with the Saasu Professional Bundle Subscription. The Pro plan provides a start up with financial management and productivity tools for up to 20 users and 5 businesses (for example if the start up opens offices in other countries). This plan is valued at $3,500 and includes CRM, payroll, inventory, web services (including in-built connector to salesforce.com), team activities and more. Bruce Clay will offer $10,000 worth of service credits towards providing website SEO strategy and design services, SEO training and/ or ongoing SEO consulting and support for a period of up to 6 months. With a focus on SEO from the start, websites can attract valuable search engine traffic streams to their products and services.
